This is a look at the Goebel family's vacation in the summer of 2001.  Paul, Beni and Joe spent two weeks touring New Mexico and Colorado.  I've chosen the Kokopelli theme, as we visited lots of cliff dwellings and pueblos, very much the home range of "the flute player", Kokopelli.

On this page you'll find some words and images from our trip.  We stayed at many nice places, and met some interesting people.  We also visited cousins from both our families.  Anway, check out the tour!

Joe and Beni enjoy a game of cards along the banks of the Cimarron river, in Cimarron, New Mexico.  We spent our first two nights at Johnson's Cabins, in Cimarron.  The view was great, and deer fed right outside our cabin windows!

No visit to Cimarron would be complete without a stop at the Philmont Scout Ranch. We spent  some time at the Kit Carson Museum, then stop for pictures by the Tooth of Time, the ranches most famous "rock". After a visit to the Main camp and Trading Post, it was on to Eagle Nest and points west!
